The Government of Casanare held the First Departmental Meeting of Security and Citizen Coexistence Managers, within the framework of the strategy led by the Secretariat of Government and Security.

This aimed to promote a solid connection between citizens, institutions and political-administrative authorities; based on the management, treatment and transformation of conflicts, peaceful coexistence and respect for human rights.

The project has 84 security and citizen coexistence managers for the 2024 term. Men and women with the capacity for dialogue and listening, from different social sectors and educational levels, committed to the construction of peace, the development of the territories and the guarantee of human rights.

These citizens will be present in participation and intervention scenarios such as social mobilizations, rallies, marches, blockades, inter-institutional tables, among others.

“Today we take a new step that brings us closer to fulfilling a desire of all Casanareños: achieving stable and lasting peace for everyone in our region,” highlighted Julio Ramos Prieto, Secretary of Government, during his opening speech at the 1st Departmental Meeting of Managers. of security and citizen coexistence.

Regarding the event, Anderson Pinilla, director of the Prosecutor’s Office for Casanare, highlighted the work that the Government does daily with security institutions, seeking to promote the fight against crime in all its forms, and the implementation of strategies. to continue accessing justice correctly.
