A fifteen year old teenager who played soccer in the Proletarios Sin Tierra cooperative, in Guasmo Sur, south of Guayaquil, has been murdered by hitmen that they shot at the boys accompanying him, all minors, at 6:00 p.m. this Saturday, January 13. Eight more boys have been injured.

It is the first hitman to take place since the declaration of the state of emergency, last Monday, January 8, and a state of internal war, on Tuesday the 9th.

The murderers are three men who arrived on a motorcycle and they began to shoot without scruple against about twenty boys who were playing ball in the street.

«They are healthy boys, they don’t mess with anyone, we ask for patrols from the police, from the military, we feel thrown out, unprotected. “Two of my relatives, my daughter and my sister, were injured, they help my mother who is in a wheelchair when they were hit by bullets,” a lady said, quoted by Extra.

So far this year, in the first 14 days of January, 134 people have been murdered by hitmen in Zone 8, made up of Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón.
