VIETRI SUL MARE – The Vietri sul Mare carabinieri foil a scam. The military under the command of lieutenant Antonio Fogliame, have discovered the authors of a new scam, in this case online. The victims are unsuspecting citizens. For some time the carabinieri had been intent on monitoring the network, aware that numerous pitfalls were hidden on the web, such as the presence of unscrupulous scammers. After some complaints, the investigators managed to identify and report the three perpetrators of the scam: a 50 year old and a 35 year old from Naples, as well as a third person, a 50 year old resident in Turin. After this brilliant investigative work, the Vietri sul Mare carabinieri have focused their attention on other scams and have begun to conduct a prolonged and detailed investigative activity, which has allowed the identification of four people responsible for a phishing against a Vietri.
