BELLUNO. «I finally have a Green pass !!!». The social health worker who works in a facility for the elderly in the Belluno area is delighted after having obtained her dose of vaccine that will allow her to have that green certification, hitherto denied, but necessary in order to have an almost normal life.
History
The story concerns a health worker who had received the first dose of the vaccine in December 2020, but then about twenty days later tested positive for Coronavirus. From that moment on, a real via crucis had begun for her, because the national health system did not recognize the dose of serum she took before testing positive for Covid, as instead happens to those who get immunized after the disease. So her Green pass, assigned to her when she recovered from the virus, had expired after six months, effectively preventing the woman from having a social life. Forced to get tampons to go to a restaurant or some family event. In short, a real “withdrawn” life as she herself complained when writing to our editorial office on August 16 last year.
The epilogue
However, as soon as her story was published in our newspaper, Ulss 1 Dolomiti contacted the operator, asking her to explain the story and promising to solve the problem. Problem that, among other things, the woman had already submitted several times to various bodies starting from the offices of the Ministry of Health, the Venetian councilor Lanzarin and the president Zaia and also to the offices in charge of the Belluno healthcare company, but always without response. For weeks she had nothing but arms outstretched from the operators who repeated that her case was not among those covered by the ministry. An unequal clash between a citizen who asks to know how to get the Green pass and the bureaucracy. But then on 19 August she was contacted precisely by the Ulss who set an appointment for her to renew that dose of vaccine she had done at the beginning of 2021 and which had not been recognized as a temperature limit from which to start the validity of the Green pass.
“The ULSS contacted me practically after my story hit the paper. They wanted to investigate the problem by checking the details of my Green pass and my vaccination situation and they told me that I had to redo another dose of the vaccine », explains the lady who has been immunized in recent days. «I will never stop thanking Corriere delle Alpi for this result, because without you I would not have been able to unblock this situation».
