Overwhelmed by a loading ramp, a worker dies in Valle D’Aosta: he was 61 years old

A 61-year-old worker from Nus, in the Aosta Valley, died of injuries sustained in an accident on the work which took place in the early afternoon in Chambave.

According to an initial reconstruction, he was hit by the ramp of a heavy vehicle on which a bulldozer should have been loaded. Remediation works are underway in the area.

The causes of the breakdown of the heavy vehicle must be ascertained. The death occurred at the Parini hospital in Aosta, where the man was urgently transported. The carabinieri and the prosecutor who carried out an inspection also intervened on the spot.
