In second place in the standings was instead Castello, with thirty-five points, followed by Port’Oria and Duomo, which respectively close in third and fourth position with twenty-seven and seventeen points.
The virtual palio was experienced with emotion by the children. At 3 pm, therefore, in the four stations set up in the coats of arms room, in the town hall, sixteen young players challenged each other, in a context of all respect for videogames lovers. The protagonists, four for each district, played in rotation, on a map that faithfully reproduced the historic center of Feltre, making use of equipment completely set up by The shop, sponsor of the event, with a set for the latest generation of videogamers: pc , screen, mouse, backlit keyboard and gaming headset.
Bows and arrows, but also a lot of cunning and the ability to identify with their virtual alter ego have allowed young people to fully experience the fifteenth-century atmosphere of the Palio. Each athlete had eight minutes in each of the eight total heats to get the better of the opponents: those expired, the survivors found themselves in the arena in Piazza Maggiore for the last fight, which thus established the final winners. The matches are also aired on the big screen set up in Pra ‘del Moro, in live streaming, as well as on the Facebook page of the Palio.
But there was not only the Minecraft tournament to entertain the younger audience yesterday afternoon: the under 14 team of the Feltre flag-wavers gave an exhibition to the public who came to the center for the medieval market, while the medieval playroom involved dozens of children who took turns trying those games that children of the past used to use.
