Suspended, therefore, pending that measures are taken and the next meeting organized. The union reserves the right, however, to ask for a new attempt at conciliation in the prefecture if no agreement is reached.

In the prefecture, the leaders of the ASL / To4 and CISL public function met face to face on Thursday. For the health company there were the administrative directors Stefano Loss Robin and health care Gloria Chiozza and the manager of the health professions Clara Occhiena. For the CISL, Ermes Zerbinati, ASL / To4 contact person, and Vincenzo Bello, territorial manager participated in the meeting.

The point on which the CISL had opened the discussion, up to a state of agitation, was linked to the chronic shortage of personnel in pediatrics and neonatology. The issue of the lack of personnel in Asl / To4 also sees other sectors in extreme difficulty, as evidenced by the news. Cisl public function has turned on a beacon on Chivasso pediatrics and neonatology. It is a highly specialized job and the union stresses that the situation was no longer sustainable. Now, with the return to full capacity of the activities, it has become even more difficult in a department, above all, which is spread over several floors. The management has included an interim unit and a pediatric nurse, but in addition to the discharges for retirement, which are widely expected, there is also an absence due to maternity. The use of tokens, if on the one hand it offers economic recognition to those who take on a greater number of shifts, if it becomes structural, it significantly increases the workload. «The company has undertaken to carry out a structural reorganization – underlines the trade unionist Ermes Zerbinati – and in mid-September we will take stock of the situation. We are obviously available to be involved in the process of defining the new logistics ». –
