PIEVE DI SOLIGO. Over the weekend, the courier depot in Pieve di Soligo was targeted. The crystal of one vehicle was shattered and break-in attempts were also reported on other vehicles. Mom reported the vandalism to the carabinieri, who started the investigation. The authors, currently unknown, wanted to cause damage and it is not the first time that couriers have been targeted. Fire extinguishers emptied, scratched bodies, vehicles had already been damaged on other occasions. It is not excluded that it is a question of retaliation for the checks and sanctions that are carried out, in particular against bullies who had caused inconvenience on the lines that carry out the transport in the Pievigino area, on the Pieve-Conegliano line.
The Faisa Cisal union reported the deterioration situation in the courier depot. An agreement is being sought between the municipal administration and Mom to find another more protected area where to leave the couriers during the night. A video surveillance system is also being evaluated.
