On this day, the visiting delegation visited the Allen Neuroscience Institute, a non-profit organization founded in 2003 by Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft (MS), to identify the causes of diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease by building the first brain map.
Kim Jin-ho, a researcher at the Allen Institute, said, “The vast amount of data on brain science held by the institute has recently been able to successfully utilize the scattered data using AI technology from Amazon Web Services (AWS),” adding, “We will be able to integrate neuroscience information within the next five years.” “A new path will open,” he explained.
