The Congolese National Police managed to get their hands on 83 individuals identified as Kuluna, these urban bandits who sow insecurity in certain corners of the Congolese capital.

It was during a closure operation carried out on the night of Sunday March 10 to Monday March 11 in Kinshasa. The deputy divisional commissioner, Blaise Kilimbalimba, said the arrested suspects will be incarcerated and will serve time in prison.

For the Kinshasa Police Commander, these arrests mark a decisive turning point in the fight against urban crime. On the other hand, he revealed that a cleaning operation is underway in the police camps. This initiative aims to enforce the rule that children over 18 should no longer reside in camps with their parents, in order to promote order and discipline within law enforcement families.
