With great success was achieved with a new edition of “La Revancha bridge by bridge”. He challenge of open waters was in charge of the “Refugio Playa Antonio” swimmer group and had the participation of around 60 swimmers.
In this second realization of Fernando’s Revenge 2024, A friend and colleague Fernando Cadenasso, a founding member and active participant of the group, was remembered, as explained by the organizers of the event.
The test was carried out last Sunday and had its starting point La Ribera de Viedma Nautical Club. The RThe test route was between the “Old Bridge” and the “New Bridge”, with a distance of 3 km.

In the General Damas was won by Iara Arias, who also won the absolute prize and the Challenger Cup, with a time of 33min and 38sec. The young swimmer established the best time of the competition and also was the winner in its category: 25 to 29 years old.
In Second place was Olivia Cruz from Villa Congreso with a time of 38:11 and completed the Ailín Ramírez podium with 38:52, also representative of Villa Congreso.
Then they settled Chiara Carancini from Refugio Playa Antonio (38:46) and Cecilia Bigatti (40:37) from Refugio Playa Antonio.
In Gentlemen, Luciano Rossi won the overall with 34:32 from Refugio Playa Antonio, who also won in the 35 to 39 years category. Then she located second was the experienced Víctor Peluffo with 34:55. Third place was completed by Agustín Bellini Curzio with a time of 35:03, representing Villa Congreso.
He Fourth to arrive was Raúl Ortíz (35:32) from Refugio Playa Antonio and fifth Enrique Quiñigual with 37:19.
The organization reported that the event was accompanied by the Sports Secretariat of Río Negro, Undersecretariat of Sports Municipality of Viedma and the La Ribera Nautical Club.
