«On 26 November 2002 – reconstructs the restaurateur – we worked for lunch. In the evening they warned us to keep it closed and so we lifted the tables and fridges thinking that some water would rise. There was tension, anxiety, fear, incredible discomfort. For us, the business was at stake and we risked our lives: instead of going home, in fact, we stayed in the parking lot, behind the restaurant, to figure out what would happen»
