Ten people, including several Dominicans, were arrested in Providence for drug distribution and illegal possession of weapons. Among those arrested were Jhonmar Román, Moisés Medina López, Jender Tirado, Ángel Peguero, Yaslin Rosa, Pablo Florián, Jeuris Noboa, José Reyes, Kyle Correia, and Lewaun Harley.

During the operation, a significant amount of drugs and firearms were seized. The police confiscated 2,769 grams of cocaine, 9,825 grams of fentanyl, 2,631 grams of marijuana, 1,228 grams of heroin, and 862 grams of methamphetamine. In addition, 13 firearms, jewelry, and vehicles were also confiscated.

A particularly large quantity of drugs and firearms was found at a residence on Winthrop Avenue. The police discovered over a million dollars in cash, four guns, and 11 kilograms of fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. José Reyes was arrested at that location, and his right to bail was denied. All of the individuals arrested have previous criminal records.

The arrests were a result of a targeted law enforcement operation to crackdown on drug distribution and illegal firearm possession in the area. The authorities are committed to taking swift and decisive action to combat the drug trade and reduce gun violence in the city.

The individuals arrested will face serious legal consequences for their illegal activities. The police are hopeful that these arrests will send a strong message to anyone involved in drug distribution and illegal gun possession in the area. Authorities are urging the community to report any suspicious activities to help keep the streets safe and secure.
