Ten people, including several Dominicans, were arrested in Providence for drug distribution and illegal possession of weapons. Among those arrested were Jhonmar Román, Moisés Medina López, Jender Tirado, Ángel Peguero, Yaslin Rosa, Pablo Florián, Jeuris Noboa, José Reyes, Kyle Correia, and Lewaun Harley.
During the operation, a significant amount of drugs and firearms were seized. The police confiscated 2,769 grams of cocaine, 9,825 grams of fentanyl, 2,631 grams of marijuana, 1,228 grams of heroin, and 862 grams of methamphetamine. In addition, 13 firearms, jewelry, and vehicles were also confiscated.
A particularly large quantity of drugs and firearms was found at a residence on Winthrop Avenue. The police discovered over a million dollars in cash, four guns, and 11 kilograms of fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. José Reyes was arrested at that location, and his right to bail was denied. All of the individuals arrested have previous criminal records.
