European arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities
(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 24 – The former president of the Generalitad of Catalonia Carles Puidgemont has been transferred to the Sassari prison. Puigdemont was arrested by the police on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities for crimes against national public order and security. (HANDLE).
