“Rapid rise”. The unvaccinated drive the resumption of infections

ROMA – The 5,000 infections had not been exceeded for a month and a half. But not only that: half of Italy is already beyond the threshold of the first of the three indicators foreseen for the return to yellow, that of the incidence of cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The RT, the transmissibility index, is at 0.96, just below the warning threshold of 1, but the Istituto Superiore di Sanità estimates that next week it will be at 1.14%.
