This initiative, an integral part of an environmental conservation project, has materialized thanks to the use of specialized machinery provided by the Chimborazo Provincial Council.

The main work has included soil plowing and the strategic planting of crops such as oats and vetch, with the purpose of revitalizing the health of the land and promoting its biological recovery.

The direct effects of this work have been felt in local communities, especially in Sigsipamba and Misquilli, where approximately 150 beneficiaries have been directly reached by this initiative. Additionally, recent similar work has been carried out in the communities of Centro Hospital Gatazo and Hospital Gatazo, benefiting 200 people respectively.

The significance of this work lies in its positive impact on the conservation of the environment and the well-being of local communities. Likewise, it represents a significant step towards environmental sustainability and strengthening food security in the province of Chimborazo.

Collaboration and commitment between provincial authorities, the departments involved and local communities stand as fundamental pillars for the success of these environmental conservation and community development initiatives.
