Relatives of 36 Venezuelans have expressed concern to the authorities of Colombia and Venezuela to find the whereabouts of the Venezuelan travelers who were on a boat from the island of San Andrés to Nicaragua last October, and never reached their destination, as reported this Sunday. the NGO Fundaredes.

The organization pointed out through the social network

«According to testimonies from relatives, not even the luggage of the missing has been found at sea, so suspicions include kidnapping by criminal groups, human trafficking, among other crimes, which are not known. has obtained no response, with only the Colombian Government being the one that has shown interest in seeking answers,” Fundaredes added.

It was reported that 36 people of Venezuelan nationality, two Chinese men and four Colombians, including two crew members, were on board the boat, making a total of 42 missing people. These include 17 minors and two pregnant women.
