Resolution of the Second Session of the Sixteenth People’s Congress of Jiujiang City on the Work Report of the Jiujiang City People’s Procuratorate

The second meeting of the 16th People’s Congress of Jiujiang City heard and reviewed the “Jiujiang City People’s Procuratorate Work Report” made by Yan Xiaohua, Chief Procurator of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate. The meeting fully affirmed the work of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate over the past year, agreed with the work arrangement for 2022 proposed in the report, and decided to approve the report.
The meeting called for the Municipal People’s Procuratorate to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law, and fully implement the “Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening the Legal Supervision of Procuratorial Organs in the New Era”, in accordance with the Municipal Party Committee and higher-level procuratorial organs. According to the deployment requirements, adhere to serving the overall situation and the people’s justice, fully perform legal supervision duties, vigorously strengthen team building, continuously consolidate the grass-roots foundation, promote the high-quality development of the city’s procuratorial work, and build an important node city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt for high standards. Recreate the glory of Jiujiang and reproduce the glory of the Nine Schools” provides a strong judicial guarantee, and welcomes the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party with excellent results.
