Over 300 violations confirmed for exceeding the speed limits while driving, more than 800 for illegal stops, 22 licenses withdrawn and 4 vehicles seized: this is the balance of road checks by the Local Police of Rome Capital this weekend, following approximately 12 thousand checks carried out by patrols in different areas of the city. Particular attention to the areas affected by nightlife, starting from the neighborhoods of Trastevere, the busiest squares in the historic centre, San Lorenzo, Pigneto, Campo dé Fiori, Rione Monti and Ponte Milvio. At the end of the investigations carried out by the agents in public places and commercial activities, including minimarkets, around thirty violations were ascertained, the majority for the sale, administration and irregular consumption of alcoholic beverages.
