Russian troops are concentrating in a military camp in Voronezh, 250 kilometers this time not from the border with one of the two Donbass separatist republics, but from a border controlled by Kiev. This was reported by the Conflict Intelligence Team which however argues that this deployment could be an effort to increase pressure on Ukraine and the United States rather than to initiate a massive military operation against Kiev. It is since last week that Moscow has begun to amass troops and vehicles along the border and the fear is that it is the beginning of a direct confrontation in Ukraine, where a constant war has been going on since 2014 that has caused about fourteen thousand deaths among the troops regulars in Kiev and the pro-Russian militias of Donetsk and Lugansk.
