Sailboat remains stranded, the two on board rescued by the fire brigade

LIGNANO. At the request of the Port Authority of Monfalcone, at 3.55 am on Wednesday 13 July the team of the detachment of the fire brigade of Lignano intervened in the Lignano exit channel, where, about 500 meters from the coast, a sailing boat had stranded with two people on board.

The firefighters, using a pneumatic boat, reached the stranded boat, transhipped the two people who were on board and then transported them, unharmed, to the old port of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
