SAN BENIGNO CANAVESE. Renato Vecchia, 45, from San Benigno Canavese, is currently under house arrest in a psychiatric facility. On October 15 a year ago he killed his mother, Ermanna Pedrini, with many stab wounds, at least 23, according to the prosecutor, inflicted on different parts of the body: from the face to the chest, passing through the arms.
Today the investigation concerning him is concluded: the deputy prosecutor Alessandro Gallo accuses him of aggravated voluntary homicide.
