SARNO – Twenty-five year old Albanian shot and rushed to hospital “Martiri del Villa Malta” after an attempted theft in a house in San Valentino Torio. He ends up under arrest with one of the two accomplices, a 24-year-old also from Albania. Hunt for the third man who had accompanied them in front of the emergency room. The incident was recorded on Wednesday evening, at 20.50, in the hospital emergency room, when the young man, bleeding from a gunshot and in serious condition, asked to be treated by the doctors. It is an Albanian, residing in Acerra, accompanied to the “Martiri di Villa Malta” by a compatriot, who left him in front of the entrance of the structure together with another person, also Albanian, and fled into thin air. The wounded man, initially hospitalized in Sarno and then transferred to the Salerno hospital, was guarded by the policemen. His friend, on the other hand, was taken to the Sarnese police station.
According to what was reconstructed by the police, the injured person is known to justice for some home thefts. From here, the policemen, under the orders of the deputy commissioner Giuliana Postiglione, began investigations to trace the episode. And from the investigations it emerged that the two, together with the other accomplice, had gone into action in a San Valentino Torio house. The owner of the apartment, who presented himself to the carabinieri yesterday morning, explained that he had shot to defend himself, as one of the three was armed at the time of the raid on the house. Now the prosecutor is evaluating his position. For this reason, therefore, the two were arrested. The 25-year-old is on guard in the hospital in Salerno, while the 24-year-old is in prison in Fuorni. Now it is the hunt for the third man, with whom they came from Acerra, where they reside. It will be necessary to understand if they are the people who, in recent weeks, have committed various thefts in the properties of the Sarnesi.
The most striking episodes took place in the locality of Foce, where bandits often targeted the most isolated houses. In the industrial area, however, a fortnight ago, a vigilantes foiled a theft in an industrial factory where five criminals had broken in by forcing the entrance gate. There were also dozens of thefts inside cars parked at the commercial establishments in the industrial area and at the parking areas located in the Sarnese area.
