“China Commends 81 Engineers and 50 Teams at National Engineer Award Commendation Conference”
On January 19, the “National Engineer Award” commendation conference was held in Beijing, where 81 individuals and 50 teams were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field of engineering. General Secretary Xi Jinping extended warm congratulations to the commended “National Outstanding Engineers” and “National Outstanding Engineer Teams,” emphasizing the importance of their work in promoting engineering science and technology for the benefit of mankind and the future.

Qin Daqing, deputy chief engineer of Harbin Electric Group Co., Ltd., spoke passionately about the world‘s largest hydroelectric generator they built, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and innovation in engineering.
