The complaint by French actress and comedienne Hélène Darras for sexual abuse against actor Gérard Depardieu was dropped at the end of December because the facts have expired. The Paris public prosecutor’s office confirmed reports about this from RTL on Monday.

The woman accused Depardieu of abuse during filming for a film in 2007. The French star actor allegedly “moped” her. The complaint dates from September 10. The investigative program ‘Complément d’onderzoek’ on France 2 brought the complaint to light.
“During the shooting of the film ‘Disco’, Depardieu ran his hand over my hips and over my buttocks,” Darras testified in the episode. “Then he asked me point blank if I wanted to go to his lodge.” The then 26-year-old actress refused, but according to her, that changed little. “He kept poking at me between takes,” the woman said.
Darras and Depardieu’s lawyers could not immediately be reached for comment on Monday.
In another file, a court in Paris has been investigating Depardieu for rape and sexual aggression since December 16, 2020. French actress Charlotte Arnould filed a complaint against him in 2018. She accused Depardieu of raping her twice at his Paris home.
