Xi Jinping Reviews Work Report of Party Officials
Beijing, February 26 (Xinhua) – The Secretary of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, along with other high-ranking officials, reported their work to the Party Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping. Xi Jinping carefully reviewed the work reports and put forward important requirements for the coming year.
According to Party regulations, officials such as members of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and the Party Leadership Group of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as well as the Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, are required to report their work to the Party Central Committee and Xi Jinping annually.
Xi Jinping emphasized the need to focus on promoting Chinese-style modernization and strengthening political responsibility. He stressed the importance of working together to achieve the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and is a critical year for achieving the goals and tasks of the “14th Five-Year Plan.” Xi Jinping called for the full implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, emphasizing the need to strengthen the “four consciousnesses”, “four self-confidences”, and achieve “two maintenances.”
Xi Jinping also highlighted the importance of consolidating and expanding the results of thematic education, promoting stability through advancement, and establishing first and then breaking. He urged officials to implement the new development concept, deepen reforms, and continue to improve people’s livelihood and well-being.
In order to achieve these goals, Xi Jinping called for officials to maintain the spirit of self-revolution, follow the party’s mass line in the new era, and correct formalism and bureaucracy. He emphasized the need to reduce the burden on the grassroots and promote work implementation through changes in work style.
Overall, Xi Jinping reiterated the importance of focusing on Chinese-style modernization and working together to promote the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation.
