Municipal authorities installed the 2024 soccer commission table in order to take measures to promote healthy coexistence and safety at sporting events.
This meeting brought together representatives of the Municipal Administration, directors of Atlético Huila, the National Police and members of the opita team bar.
The Metropolitan Park witnessed this dialogue that seeks to guarantee that Atlético Huila matches are lived in an environment of peace and respect. Germán Casagua expressed his satisfaction with the coordination between various institutions, including the team bar, with the aim of ensuring that football matches are moments of recreation for all Neiva residents.

“We are very pleased because we are already establishing an articulation between the different institutions, between the club, the fans, between the Atlético Huila club so that all the matches they play in our municipality are matches in peace,” said the mayor.
The purpose of the football commission table is to promote good sports practicespromoting respect and avoiding disturbances around the Guillermo Plazas Alcid stadium during the ‘auriverde’ team’s matches.
Jesús Alberto Escobar Beltrán, reference of the Alta Tensión Sur barhighlighted the importance of working together to offer opportunities to young people who face challenging circumstances.
The Secretary of Sports of Neiva, Juan Camilo Muñoz, highlighted the commitment of the members of the commission and the expectation of managing sporting events with coexistence and community safety.
