When the judiciary is crushed by the executive, or is defeated, its pride crushed, or the judiciary submits to the executive; This means that the judiciary has written its end, and has been transformed into a mere tool in the hands of the executive authority.
What happened with Judge Abdel-Wahab Qatran is an announcement not of the weakness and fragility of the judicial authority, but of the defeat of this authority before the executive authority after prolonged malaise, disappointment, and illness.
Yes, there are honorable and independent judges who work in bad conditions, and the situation is extremely difficult, but there is no longer any trace that attests to the existence of an independent judiciary.
This also applies to the legislative authority.
It is a more than miserable situation that we live in every day..
The absence of the judiciary means the absence of the protection that should be provided to people.. the absence of a reference to which people can turn and to which.. and it means more than the loss of justice.
The loss of the people to a refuge from injustice, and in light of the continuation of this absence and loss, congestion and blockage in the way of change is formed, which prompts the people to search for means, refuges, and other means of change, and to overthrow those systems that prevent any change, and refuse to provide justice and protection for their citizens.
I think it is a situation that we are experiencing today, or its ramifications, if the situation remains as it is.
