Shakira surprised her fans by revealing that her two sons, Sasha and Milan, were active in her new song titled ‘Acrostic’. Both talented young men not only played the piano, but also provided their voices for this exciting musical project. In addition, they appeared in the official video for the song, adding a special touch to the production.
The singer from Barranquilla announced the official launch of the video for “Acrostic” through her social networks this Monday, May 15. In her post, Shakira revealed that her children have been practicing the piano and singing.
“This year Milan has written songs that made me cry with emotion and Sasha has spent hours at the piano, discovering her voice”, revealed the composer.

In the Videoclip the ‘Woman of the Year’ can be seen singing and playing the piano, behind her, there are several stacked boxes, which refers to her recent move from Spain to the United States.
Sasha, Shakira’s youngest son, can also be seen performing the song while his mother watches him sing. For his part, Milan is in charge of playing the piano and later joins the song with his voice. Throughout the video, the affectionate family is shown, exchanging hugs and kisses, while music plays in the background, it is evident the good relationship that Shakira has with her children.
“Acrostic” is the first song without collaborations made by the artist, after her separation from Gerard Piqué. It is also the first production in which her children participate, so it promises to be a success.
