Gb Marine Service, attackers have left the boat

(ANSA) – LONDON, AUGUST 04 – The ship off the coast of the United Arab Emirates that was stormed yesterday by a group of armed men is out of danger, the attackers have left it and the accident is closed: This was announced this morning in a tweet by the British Navy service that deals with information relating to safety in navigation (Ukmto).

According to security sources quoted by Sky News last night, a group of eight or nine armed individuals had boarded the Panamanian-flagged Asphalt Princess in the Gulf of Oman off the coast of the United Arab Emirates. Yesterday the Ukmto spoke of “a potential hijacking”. (HANDLE).
