by admin

The process of defining the innovative contract continues for the “Development of local communities through the valorization of cultural heritage”, within the programme Smarter Italyfinanced and promoted by MIMIT, MUR and DTD and implemented by the Agency for Digital Italy.

The objective of this initiative, worth 10 million eurosis to encourage the social and economic growth of local communities by identifying and developing new services to enhance the lesser-known artistic and cultural heritage, intercepting the tourist flows that mainly focus on the large cities and best-known cultural sites of our country.

A challenge taken up by over 700 subjectsincluding public bodies (23%), universities and public and private research centers (12%), large companies (12%), SMEs and startups (38%), which are participating in the public consultation.

The public discussion took place between September and December 2023 to identify needs and stimulate demand for innovative services: numerous applications from local authorities to participate in the experimentation.

In February 2024 we moved to the preliminary market consultation – a fundamental stage for the definition of the innovative solution and for the participatory development of the tender documents. There was considerable interest and wide participation from operators in the tourism and cultural sector and in the technological innovation sector.

AgID collected market experiences during plenary session events and through meetings “One to One“, an innovative format created by AgID which provides for a “face to face” dialogue, in public, between the operator and the contracting authority. Over 40 market operators they requested a dedicated one-to-one session.

The purpose of the “One to One”, in addition to providing the contracting authority with a snapshot of the state of the art of the sector, is also to encourage network building e collaborations between economic operatorswho will be able to join together in groups to participate in the tender, increasing their competitiveness and responding more effectively to the request for innovation.

In addition to the “One to One“, further public events are planned to conclude the market consultation, after which AgID will publish the tender notice, which is expected to be released in May.

All information is published on the Innovation Procurement Portal appaltinnovativi.gov.it in challenge card and in the relative diary page.

Economic operators, companies, universities, research centers, third sector bodies, natural persons, etc. interested in the challenge are invited to fill out the form “expression of interest” and to participate in the “Let’s team up”, which they have already almost joined 300 operators. Economic operators can request a meeting “One to One” to the email address [email protected].
