The amount of snowfall expected tomorrow in Piedmont is dropping to 200-400 metres. Precipitation – explains Arpa (Regional Agency for Environmental Protection) – will mainly affect the mountain and piedmont belt from Cuneo to Biella and the first stretches of adjacent plains” and will be “more extensive during the afternoon, with the exception of the south-eastern sector which will see sporadic or completely absent phenomena”.
Sleet or rain mixed with snow is possible until early Wednesday morning on the plains north of the Po.
It improves from Wednesday afternoon, with snowfall limited to the western and southwestern valleys. Thursday’s weather is expected to be “stable and sunny except for morning fog in the plains, which will then lift”.
