The mayor of Bajo Baudó, Faustino Murillo Ramírez, held a series of meetings in Pizarro, Piliza and Sivirú, in the company of Yolanda Villavicencio Mapy, president of the Spanish Association for International Development Cooperation (AESCO) and her work team, who They sought to know the basic needs of the municipality.
These participatory spaces allowed the Spanish cooperation delegation to learn about the territory, its characteristics, needs, and conditions, as well as identify the proposals that the communities have to provide solutions to multiple shortcomings and needs that exist in Bajo Baudó.
Likewise, it allowed them to understand the productive and fishing dynamics, which will allow them to articulate actions that enable the work of collaborative networks with Colombians abroad that contribute to the development of our territory.
It was concluded that Bajo Baudó is a municipality with a privileged geography, conducive to developing tourism as an important line of our economy, with an incomparable wealth of flora and fauna, quality, friendly, and welcoming people.
Yolanda Villavicencio Mapy committed to being a tireless ambassador who will work jointly with Mayor Faustino Murillo Ramírez in the management of various projects, especially in the tourism sector and renewable energy, that help substantially improve the lives of Bajobaudoseña families.
