TREVISO. He is a young African immigrant, the author of the series of thefts in the city center which yielded a total of 2,200 euros. He is a 22-year-old from Burkina Faso. The young man used to arrive by bicycle, at night, in the chosen premises and with a manhole thrown against the windows or the entrance doors to breach to enter the premises to grab the bottom.
The African, now under house arrest, according to the investigations of the Treviso mobile team, coordinated by the head of the police headquarters Imma Benvenuto, would be the author of the splits to the Nascimben pastry shop in viale Luzzatti (booty 1800 euros), al Cae de Oro restaurant in Vicolo Avogari (100 euros), al off-piste café in viale Monte Grappa (10 euro), at the Hostaria Alloro in via dei Dall’Oro and al Futura Market in Strada Ghirada.
All thefts occurred in the nights between 18 and 27 May past. The men of the police station managed to trace his identity thanks to a meticulous work. Determinants the filming of the video surveillance cameras of the premises and of the areas where the splits took place.
