ÑACUNDAY (police) The incident was recorded last Sunday, at night, in a house located called Punta Jovai, in the Colonia Lomas Valentinas, in the district of Ñacunday, Alto Paraná.
A man was injured while sitting in front of his home. This is Éver Walter Mereles Almirón, 44 years old, who suffered a stray bullet wound to the back.
The victim told the police officers that he was in front of his home sharing a round of drinks with his friends, when at a given moment, he felt the impact of the firearm, without knowing where the bullet came from.
In the midst of the scare and without knowing what happened, the man was quickly helped by those close to him to the local Health Center to receive medical attention. The case was reported to the prosecutor on duty, María del Carmen Meza, for the proper procedures.
