In the early morning of November 11, 2020, Sun Dawu and the senior management of the group, including Sun Dawu and his family (wife, two sons, and daughter-in-law), were illegally arrested and detained until now. The allegations in the arrest notice include illegal absorption. Before the hearing, after the Gaobei Court issued a hearing notice to the defense lawyers, the lawyers were interviewed by the judicial departments of various places. On the first day of the trial, the judicial departments of various regions successively sent personnel to Gaobeidian City to meet with defense lawyers. Some regions even dispatched district, municipal, and provincial judicial department staff to participate in the whole process.
