BELLUNO. Numerous today, January 23, the mountain rescue and Suem di Pieve di Cadore interventions for tourists injured in the mountains. Fortunately, however, there were no serious cases.

A Livinallongo just before 2pm the Suem was activated by the GeoResQ power plant, alerted by a 39 year old EB hiker from Gaiarine (Tv) who had lost her way losing her orientation on the snow between two paths in Ciamplò. Placed in telephone contact with the Livinallongo Alpine Rescue, the woman was reassured and directed to return to the correct track, while a team went to meet her. Still on the cell phone with her, the rescuers joined her on the path and accompanied her to the car.

Another intervention featured a tourist from Taiwan. Around lunchtime, the Suem helicopter rescued a 54-year-old Taiwanese tourist who had slipped while walking over the frozen Lake ofMisurina. The woman also hit her head. Landed nearby, medical and helicopter rescue teams reached 54, gave her first aid and loaded her on board. A technician from the Auronzo Alpine Rescue also intervened on site to support the operations. The injured person was transported to Vallesella and entrusted to an ambulance directed to the hospital in Pieve di Cadore for the necessary treatment.

The helicopter rescue then flew onto the Crissin di Laggio di Cadore for an illness of a ski mountaineer. The man, EC, 57 years old from Vittorio Veneto (Tv), felt unwell, while with a companion he was walking downhill from Crissin di Laggio, in the municipality of Vigo di Cadore. The hiker complained of sudden tachycardia. Once the point where it was located was geolocated, it was reached by the helicopter rescue technician who landed nearby. The Suem Cadorino helicopter then recovered in two rotations, with a 20-meter winch, he and his companion, and then transported them to Vallesella. The man who was taken ill was then accompanied by ambulance to the hospital in Pieve di Cadore for the necessary checks. The friend, on the other hand, went up to take his car back with a team of the Alpine Rescue Center of Cadore, ready to intervene in support of the operations.
