This Saturday morning the video of a taxi driver who decided to wash his vehicle in a drinking water leak that has been recorded for several days on Sierra Nevada Avenuenear the Makro warehouse, north of Valledupar, due to damage to a pipe.
“This pipe has been burst for 3 days, we have to take advantage and I’m going to wash the car here so as not to waste drinking water. In Valledupar, Emdupar says that the company is not viable, that it is of no use and from here they take the water to the department of La Guajira and for several days he has been wasting water here”says the taxi driver while washing his vehicle.
The leak was reported to the Emdupar company by passers-by and residents of that sector of the capital of Cesar. Through his Twitter account, The company assured that they will intervene on the pavement next week to solve the damage to the pipe.
“We carry out engineering planning to solve a failure in the aqueduct distribution network on Avenida Sierra Nevada. We are organizing everything to intervene on the pavement next week. We ask citizens for understanding.”, is read in the trill.

The company pointed out that when Sierra Nevada Avenue was built, changing the pipeline was not contemplated. “When Sierra Nevada Avenue was built, the change of 6″ asbestos cement pipe for PVC was not contemplated, therefore, permanently suffers from malfunctions”they added.
