The 2024 Rural Revitalization and Industrial Assistance Conference and the Xinhuanet Tracing China’s “Seed Plan” special event were successfully held in Deqing, Zhejiang. The conference was hosted by Xinhuanet and organized under the guidance of Xinhua News Agency and China Brand Building Promotion Association. The event featured agricultural products from various regions such as Jilin, Yunnan, Qinghai, and Hubei, showcasing their specialties and promoting their brands.

Shen Jiangying, President of Xinhuanet, emphasized the importance of branding to strengthen agriculture and revitalize rural areas. Xinhuanet, in collaboration with the China Quality Agricultural Products Development Service Association, launched the “Seed Plan” for rural revitalization and industrial assistance. This initiative aims to empower the development of credible brands, cultivate wealth, benefit consumers, and contribute to rural revitalization.

Huang Jingyi, President of the China Quality Agricultural Products Development Service Association, highlighted the association’s efforts to promote the development of agricultural brands and the implementation of green agriculture strategies. The association, along with Xinhuanet, launched the “China High-Quality Agricultural Products Brand Enhancement Plan” to accelerate the branding of agricultural products and support rural revitalization.

Special events and brand promotions for specialty agricultural products were held in Jilin, Yunnan, Qinghai, Hubei, and other regions. Local officials shared their plans to strengthen their respective industries, such as Jilin’s ginseng industry, Huaping’s mango industry, Shulan’s rice production, Qinghai Sanjiang Group’s agricultural and animal husbandry development, and Hubei Cereals and Oils Group’s “Jianghan Rice” brand.

The event also included signing ceremonies for ecological partners of Traceability China’s “Seed Plan” and licensing ceremonies for trusted regional public brands and corporate brands. Xinhuanet secured cooperation agreements with various organizations to trace China’s trusted brands into the United Nations and promote high-quality products from trusted brands. An exhibition and tasting area for these products were also set up to showcase the diverse range of offerings from these regions.

Overall, the conference and special event provided a platform for agricultural stakeholders to promote their brands, share industry advancements, and contribute to the ongoing efforts of rural revitalization and industrial assistance in China.
