Heavy rains have caused the shutdown of coal-producing areas in Shanxi. Possible new COVID-19 outbreak

According to leaked internal documents obtained by the Chinese “Epoch Times“, Beijing authorities have asked local authorities to prepare for a large-scale COVID-19 outbreak.

A document entitled “Notice on Further Strengthening of Epidemic Prevention Work” was issued by the State Council of China and forwarded to local authorities by the Fujian Provincial Government on September 30. The State Council issued another “National Day Epidemic Prevention Notice” the next day, which was also forwarded by Fujian Province to local authorities.

Both of the leaked documents were marked as “extremely urgent.” According to reports, the two notices suggested strengthening preparations and making an emergency response to the new COVID-19 epidemic. The CCP authorities have ordered the construction of centralized isolation sites, and local authorities have repeatedly been required to build isolation centers and isolation rooms with no less than 20 per 10,000 people by the end of October. Each isolation center needs to be composed of at least 100 rooms.

China is underprepared for COVID-19 outbreak

According to available data, the population of Fujian Province in 2020 is 41.54 million. As of September 19, the province has set up a total of 35,691 quarantine rooms in 296 central locations. However, taking into account the standards set by the Chinese Communist Party, Fujian Province needs to establish at least 83,000 quarantine rooms by the end of October, which means an increase of about 47,000.

“The Epoch Times” quoted Dr. Lin Xiaoxu, a former virology researcher at the U.S. Army Research Institute, as saying: “This reflects the CCP’s fear of an increase in the epidemic. It must have concealed the true epidemic in mainland China, otherwise it will not issue emergency preparedness for the entire country. Sexual notice.”

Expert: The isolation point is an alternative concentration camp

Although China’s economy is in a precarious state, the authorities have not forgotten political repression while focusing on the possible outbreak of new epidemics. According to reports, the “Notice of Further Strengthening of Epidemic Prevention” also requires the establishment of a “five guarantees and one” system, with the implementation of community epidemic prevention by township and township cadres, community network members, grassroots medical workers, police officers, and volunteers; “Strict implementation of community prevention control”.

The “Notice” also stipulates a strict epidemic prevention mechanism, that is, blocking communities and strictly preventing imported epidemics.

Dr. Lin Xiaoxu believes that the “five guarantees for one” system mentioned in the document, the system “is to strengthen social management and control in the local area, and all its purpose is to strengthen control.”

The former virology researcher said that apart from nucleic acid testing, all the CCP’s epidemic prevention methods are in the form of political campaigns. For example, you can be quarantined at any time and put in a quarantine point. The quarantine point can also become a place of political persecution.

Dr. Lin added: “Anyone, as long as they deduct a nucleic acid positive for you, they will deprive you of all your rights. Its isolation point is actually an alternative form of concentration camp.”

The future COVID-19 epidemic will hit China’s economy

In the past two months, the Chinese economy has faced unprecedented setbacks. First, the Evergrande crisis and the bursting of the real estate bubble have brought China’s market and economy on the verge of collapse. Immediately after China’s coal and power crisis, it caused a national power outage and a decline in manufacturing activities. Now it is the flooding in Shanxi Province under the low temperature, the interruption of the Longhai Railway and the closure of Shanxi coal mines. It can be said that the last thing Beijing authorities want to see is a public health emergency.

If an epidemic occurs, it is very likely that the Beijing authorities will conceal it, just as it suppressed the outbreak in Wuhan two years ago. If this is the case, the CCP will face a serious backlash from the international community and may be cut off from the world economy.
