The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange high-temperature warning today. This is also the ninth consecutive day that the Central Meteorological Observatory has issued a high-temperature warning.

Meteorological monitoring shows that from June 1 to July 12, the average number of high temperature days in my country was 5.3 days, the most in the same period in history since 1961. Yesterday, the highest temperature in Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places was above 38℃, and Sichuan Gulin reached 42.6℃. The maximum temperature of 15 national meteorological stations in Sichuan, Yunnan, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places reached or exceeded the extreme value in July.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature orange warning. It is expected that by the 17th, the high temperature, fine and hot weather in the eastern Sichuan Basin, Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan, South China and other places will continue. The daily maximum temperature in most areas is generally 35 ~ 38 ℃. During the day, the temperature in southern Jiangsu, central and northern Zhejiang, southeastern Sichuan, Chongqing, and southern Shaanxi can reach above 40°C locally. From the 17th to the 20th, there will be rainfall in the Sichuan Basin, Jianghan, Jianghuai, western and northern Jiangnan, and northwestern South China. The high temperature is expected to ease temporarily. However, after the 21st, the high temperature in the south will develop again.
