Cui Xiaofeng said that since the “13th Five-Year Plan”, China’s civil aviation has resolutely implemented the country’s major strategic deployment, actively promoted the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” in the field of civil aviation, taking the initiative, making the best of the situation, pragmatic cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win. Notable results have been achieved in facilities construction and anti-epidemic cooperation. At present, in the face of new changes and new challenges in the international and domestic situation, as a pioneer and pioneer in the construction of the “Belt and Road”, China’s civil aviation must further promote the integration of the “Belt and Road” platform and promote the high-quality development of the “Air Silk Road” construction.
Cui Xiaofeng pointed out that it is necessary to fully understand that the construction of China’s civil aviation “Belt and Road” cooperation platform is a concrete action to implement General Secretary Jinping’s important exposition on the construction of the “Belt and Road”. At the meeting, the Development Planning Department, International Department, International Cooperation Service Center and other member units of the Platform Steering Committee of the Civil Aviation Administration reported on the work during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period and the “14th Five-Year Plan” plan, and put forward opinions and suggestions on promoting the development of the platform. Civil Aviation University, Flight Academy, Management Institute, Academy of Aviation Sciences, Second Civil Aviation Institute, Capital Airport Group, Airport Construction Group and other units attended the meeting as non-voting delegates and made speeches.
It is understood that as of 2020, my country has signed bilateral air transport agreements with 128 countries or regions, including 103 countries along the “Belt and Road”.
