The attack in the common section of the Brissogne prison
AOSTA. The man arrested for the murder of Elena Raluca Serban suffered a beating in prison. Gabriel Falloni, 36, self-confessed, was beaten by a group of inmates in the common section. He did not suffer any serious injuries and, once the hospital visits were over, he returned to the Brissogne prison.
The fact dates back to last Wednesday.
Falloni has been detained since 21 April. He was initially in solitary confinement, where people accused of violence and crimes in particular against women are often placed, disliked by other inmates. After some time, the 36-year-old asked to be transferred to the common section, where the violent attack with kicks and punches then took place. The beating ended when the prison police officers arrived.
Falloni was taken to hospital for routine examinations which ruled out serious injuries. The 36-year-old then returned to prison in solitary confinement.
