The Emelec Blue Explosion took place in Cuenca, province of Azuay, on the afternoon of this Saturday, the 17th. February. The day took place at the Alejandro Serrano Aguilar stadium, where the blues won their first game.

After the official presentation of the team, the club played a friendly match against Libertad, winning by the smallest difference.
