Xiamen Evening NewsNews (Reporter Kuang Wei) On April 14, the country reported 3,472 local confirmed cases and 20,694 local asymptomatic infections, involving 26 provinces. As of 17:00 on April 15, there were 15 high-risk areas and 188 medium-risk areas in the country. The Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued a health reminder.

After entering (returning) to Xiamen, all people with a history of living in a city with a local case within 14 days must conduct nucleic acid testing as soon as possible, and take the initiative to report to the community (village) and unit (or hotel where they live), according to the place of departure and the place of travel. Classified management of epidemic risk levels shall be implemented. Nucleic acid testing is free in the city until May 10.

Citizens and friends are requested to wear masks and disposable gloves and disinfect the inner and outer packaging when they come into contact with couriers and items from overseas and domestic medium and high-risk areas, and wash their hands and replace the masks in time after handling the mail.

Inoculation of the new coronavirus vaccine is an effective way to prevent the new coronavirus infection, and the new coronavirus vaccine still has protective effect on the Omicron variant. If there is no contraindication to vaccination, eligible citizens are requested to be vaccinated against the new coronavirus as soon as possible, and a booster shot will be given as soon as possible after half a year of complete vaccination.
