The reporter learned from the Agricultural Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee that the No. 1 Document of the Provincial Party Committee was recently issued this year, which is also the 19th document of the Provincial Party Committee to guide the work of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” in Jiangsu Province since the 21st century.

In order to comprehensively promote rural revitalization and more effectively promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, this year’s No. 1 document of the Provincial Party Committee lists 42 hard-core measures in 8 areas, including ensuring food security, strictly adhering to the red line of arable land protection, and deepening effective connection. Among them, focusing on the implementation of the No. 1 document of the Central Committee, we must firmly adhere to the “two bottom lines” of ensuring national food security and preventing large-scale return to poverty. The No. 1 document of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee has further clarified that we must resolutely carry out the stable production of important agricultural products.
