ALPAGO. “The world I would like”. This is the theme assigned to the elementary school students of the Alpago for the 15th edition of the literary competition named after the teacher Paola Bortoluzzi, who carried out her career in the various complexes of the Comprensivo until retirement. A title that offered young people numerous ideas to overcome, through poetry, even the inconveniences caused by the health emergency.

The awards ceremony took place in the gymnasium of the secondary school of Puos and saw the poems by Melisa Elmazoska and Matilde Savi, both of the primary school of Farra, awarded ex aequo. The primary school of Lamosano, on the other hand, stood out and was awarded for the highest number of finalists. The jury that evaluated the compositions was made up of teachers Jessica Da Re, Gerarda Rufolo and Cinzia Viel (the latter also coordinator of the event).

The administrations of the three municipalities were present at the award ceremony: Alpago, Chies and Tambre; the manager of the Comprensivo, Orietta Isotton; finalist students; a representation of teachers and parents.

Giuseppe Bortoluzzi spoke on behalf of the teacher’s family, who suddenly passed away 16 years ago. The desire of her family members was to remember her over time in the context dear to her, and for this reason this literary event was born which has since become a tradition for the schools of the Alpago.

The meeting with the students enjoyed the musical accompaniment by the teachers Jessica Da Re and Fabio Reolon. The head teacher, in thanking the teachers and all those who collaborated in organizing the event, underlined “how in this tough year the competition represented an opportunity to look at the restart and the future with optimism, imagining ways to build a better world ».

In fact, the children’s ideas and productions were many and original, while all the teachers were enthusiastic about cultivating their natural artistic sensitivity, enhancing their ideas, sensitizing them towards poetic language. “But the route also represented an opportunity to educate them to reflect and observe with wonder the reality that surrounds them and to offer ideas to look to the future with confidence”, the organizers stressed.
