Together with them was present the president of the Unité Mont Emilius Michel Martinet also because the new cycle path is part of the wider route (30 kilometers in all) that will allow you to cycle continuously from the municipality of Sarre to that of Pontey along the entire territory at the bottom of the Unité valley. Some parts of the route already exist and the missing pieces are expected to be completed in the coming years.
The cycle path between Fénis and Saint-Marcel cost about 1.2 million euros, almost all financed by the EU program Investments for growth and employment 2014/20 – Fesr.
