The cases are mainly concentrated in Putuo District and Baoshan District. Songjiang District is also listed as a medium-risk area, and many hospitals have announced that they will be closed.
According to the official report on March 3, Shanghai has recently added a number of local confirmed cases. Among them, 8 infected persons belong to an elderly dance team in Shiquan Community, Putuo District, and 5 are employees of a supermarket. At present, both the Shiquan activity center and the supermarket are listed as medium-risk areas.

Due to the epidemic, 7 hospitals in Shanghai have suspended outpatient and emergency services, including the General Hospital of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, the Huangpu Branch of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Jiuting Hospital in Songjiang District, Shanghai, and Renhe Hospital in Baoshan District, Shanghai.
