The People’s Liberation Army and Armed Police Force delegation held the second plenary meeting
Beijing, March 9 (PLA Daily) – The People’s Liberation Army and Armed Police Force delegations attending the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress convened their second plenary meeting today. The 15 representatives, including Zhang Youxia, Liu Zhenli, Miao Hua, and Zhang Shengmin, gathered to review the government work report and discuss major issues concerning national defense and military construction.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, making it a crucial year for achieving the goals outlined in the “14th Five-Year Plan.” The representatives emphasized the importance of implementing the decisions and arrangements made by the Party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, as well as following the guidance set forth by President Xi Jinping at the NPC session.
